Who we are
Hamesh is run by Hamesh, a company registered in Egypt. We decide how your data is used, and we're responsible for it.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist: your email address, the language you chose, the package and billing period you clicked, the currency the prices were shown in, the campaign tags in the link that brought you here, and your answers to the optional questions. To stop abuse, we keep a keyed hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of its network) for an hour or two, never the address itself.
What we count
To count visits we send seven kinds of events: page viewed, language switched, demo played, prices viewed, package clicked, waitlist joined and question answered. They carry the page's language and path, the package and billing period, the currency, the campaign tags and, for the survey, the question and your answer. They also carry your browser and operating system with their versions, your device type, your browser's language, and your screen and window size. We use no cookies, and these counts keep no IP address, location, time zone, full web address or referring site. A random number, new on each page load, links that visit's events. Your light or dark choice is saved only in your own browser, and the page reads your device's time zone there to pick the prices' currency; neither is sent to us.
Why, and on what basis
To tell you when Hamesh launches and send your founding-member offer, and to decide what to build first. We use your waitlist details because you chose to join. Since we don't confirm addresses when people join, the launch email asks you to confirm; if you don't, we delete your details. We count visits and stop abuse because we have a legitimate interest in running a safe page and learning what matters to its visitors.
Who processes it, and where
Cloudflare hosts this page, checks that you're not a bot (Turnstile), and stores the waitlist in its EU region. PostHog counts visits, from its EU region. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Your waitlist details until 3 months after Hamesh launches on your phone's store (the App Store, or Google Play when the Android app launches), or until you ask us to delete them. The launch email asks which phone you use. Deleted data stays in Cloudflare's backups for 7 days, then it's gone. The hash of your IP address is deleted within two hours, and is gone from the backups 7 days later. PostHog shows us the visit counts for a year, and we delete them all, by deleting the landing page's PostHog project, within 3 months of Hamesh's launch on the App Store.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, at any time: write to privacy@hameshapp.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
