Questions
Does it understand my dialect?
Yes. We choose the transcription model by testing real recordings in English and in Modern Standard, Egyptian and Gulf Arabic, including English words mid-sentence. You can always edit the text.
What happens to my recordings?
They're saved on your phone first, then uploaded encrypted to our servers in Frankfurt to be transcribed. Your recordings are never used to train any model, and you can delete them at any time.
Paper books or ebooks?
Both. Hamesh is built for paper books first, and works with any book you read on another device. EPUB import comes later.
When does it launch?
Soon, on the App Store and Google Play. People on the waitlist hear first and get the founding-member discount.
Is there an Android version?
Yes. Hamesh is coming to iPhone and Android, on the App Store and Google Play.
